Small Planet Airlines Italia (Rome Fiumicino) has entered the scheduled passenger service market again with the launch of Genoa to Naples Capodichino via Rome Fiumicino flights, already launched on October 28 and operating five times weekly. According to Italian tourist portal, turistinviaggio, the stopover in Rome is kept to only 30minutes. The airline is also planning to enter the Italy - Albania market offering flights to Tirana from Bari, Genoa and Naples Capodichino despite the failure of a previous venture offering domestic scheduled flights from Milan Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino and Bologna to Crotone. Flights will be sold via virtual carrier Flyplanet (Milan Bergamo). Flyplanet is a sister company of broker Aeroservizi which also is the majority shareholder in Small Planet Airlines Italia. Two B737-300s of Small Planet Airlines (Vilnius) are currently working for Small Planet Airlines Italia (Rome Fiumicino).
