Era Aviation (Anchorage Ted Stevens) along with sister carriers Hageland Aviation Services (Saint Mary's) and Frontier Flying Service (Fairbanks International) are to be renamed in line with parent, Era Alaska's plans to distinguish both itself and its subsidiaries from other carriers in the market. In a statement, Era Alaska said it would rename itself as "Ravn Alaska" while Era Aviation will become Corvus Airlines (Anchorage Ted Stevens). Both Hageland Aviation and Frontier Flying Service will now be known as Ravn Connect. The move to change Era Alaska’s name began due to confusion with Era Helicopters, which was once under the same brand. The rebranding exercise is expected to take 6 months. Era Alaska and its partners offer services out of Anchorage Ted Stevens, Fairbanks International, Bethel, Cordova, Homer, Valdez, Kenai, and Kodiak to Alaska's more remote regions.
