Interjet (Toluca) is to deploy its growing fleet of SSJ 100/95s on flights to the United States. During a recent meeting in Madrid held with partners involved in the SSJ 100-95’s manufacturing and development - United Aircraft Corporation, Alenia Aermacchi (Brindisi), SuperJet International and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) - Interjet confirmed that it had secured all the necessary paperwork needed to fly the SSJ 100 on routes from Mexico to North America. “This is another brilliant achievement for Interjet and for the SSJ100. As promised, we are opening new routes taking advantage of the SSJ100 overall performances which will soon begin to fly to the US for the first time” said Mr. Miguel Aleman Magnani, Executive President of Interjet. The Mexican LCC is expecting a further eleven Superjet's this year alone. Interjet currently serves San Antonio International, Santa Ana, CA, New York JFK, Miami International, Las Vegas Harry Reid in the United States.
