Kuwait Airways (KU, Kuwait) has firmed an order with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for twenty-five aircraft including ten A350-900s and fifteen A320neo as part of the airlines’ fleet renewal strategy. Kuwait Airways already operates three A320-200s, three A310-300s, five A300-600s and four A340-300s. As an interim measure, the airline will also lease twelve aircraft from the European manufacturer.
