Thomas Cook Airlines UK (Manchester International) will wet-lease a total of four A320-200s for the upcoming summer season. Sources inform ch-aviation that two A320-200s sourced from SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) will be based out of London Gatwick and Newcastle, GB while one of two A320s sourced from Avion Express (X9, Vilnius) is to be based out of Cardiff.
A second Avion Express A320 will be forwarded to the airline's Belgian sister carrier, Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium (Brussels National).
Thomas Cook Airlines UK currently operates a fleet including three B767-300(ER)s, two B757-300s, eleven B757-200s, four A330-200s, six A321-200s and a single A320-200.
