Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) has taken delivery of its first of two B777-200(ER)s on lease from EgyptAir (MS, Cairo International). As previously reported, the twinjets are SU-GBY (msn 32630) and SU-BGX (msn 32629) of which the former, now registered as S2-AHL, has now arrived in Dhaka while the latter is still in Cairo International awaiting its ferry flight.
The aircraft's entry comes as the Bangladeshi plans to resume its New York JFK services this June.
The Bangladeshi national carrier also operates two A310-300s, two B737-800s and four B777-300(ER)s to twenty-two destinations in Asia and Europe.
