East Horizon Airlines (Kabul) has returned its wet-leased MD-83, UR-CLY (cn 53188), to owner Bravo Airways (Ukraine) (BAY, Kyiv Boryspil), which has since sold the aircraft on to Iranian operator, Caspian Airlines (CPN, Tehran Mehrabad).
To make up for the shortfall, according to Aerotransport, East Horizon has now acquired its first own MD-82, YA-EHA (msn 53222), formerly I-DATC with Alitalia (AZA, Rome Fiumicino). The twinjet is currently stored in Tupelo.
The Afghan carrier also wet-leases two Eastern SkyJets (Dubai International) B737-400s and a Tajik Air (7J, Dushanbe) MA-60.
