UTair (UT, Khanty-Mansiysk) has completed the transfer of its entire fleet of ATR72-500s to subsidiary, UTair-Express (Syktyvkar). In a statement, the Russian carrier said the turboprops have contributed to the increase in UTair-Express' passenger turnover for the first two months of this year, representing a 61.1% growth over the same period last year.
The aircraft are listed as cn: 942, 945, 950, 951, 952, 953, 963, 965, 975, 976, 980, 981, 983, 984 and 990. They collectively average 2.6 years of age.
UTair-Express uses the ATRs on popular Russian domestic routes with limited passenger turnover as well as on flights from Moscow Vnukovo to Vilnius in Lithuania.
