New Jatayu Air (Batam) is believed to have launched operations on April 10 using a B737-400. The start-up's website lists its route network as daily flights from Batam to Bandung and Palembang as well as between Bandung and Palembang.
Predecessor Jatayu Air (Batam) had offered full service domestic flights in the last decade before Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation revoked its Air Operators Certificate in 2007 citing its failure to comply with safety regulations.
