PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) has announced the winners of an RFP issued in May for a month-long operational contract beginning July 1. According to the carrier, the successful aircraft include a BH Air - Balkan Holidays Air (8H, Sofia) A319-100, LZ-AOA (cn 3139), two Bingo Airways (Warsaw Chopin) A320s, SP-ADK (cn 1723) and SP-ABK (cn 2118), and a Jordan Aviation (R5, Amman Queen Alia) A320, JY-JAT (cn 2061).
Rounding up the selection is Georgian ACMI specialist, Vista Georgia (Tbilisi), which will also deploy an A320, ex 9V-SLD (cn 1422); its first of the type.
The Pakistani carrier also has a further eight ex-Tigerair (Singapore Changi) A320s lined up for summer operations.
