Estonian Air (Tallinn Lennart Meri) will terminate its 8x weekly Amsterdam Schiphol to Växjö service operated as a codeshare with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL, Amsterdam Schiphol). According to Denmark's check-in.dk news portal, the route's final flight is scheduled for August 10.
Operated in conjunction with Växjö Småland Airport AB, VisitSweden and Destination Småland, the E170 flights launched on May 4 and were aimed at boosting tourism to the south-eastern Swedish town. However, despite a strong initial response, the route has so far failed to garner adequate numbers.
