Grand Cru Airlines (Vilnius) will supplement its current all-Boeing (BOE, Washington National) fleet with the arrival of a first A320-200 this winter. Aleksandr Celiadin, Grand Cru Airlines' Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy CEO, told the newstodate portal that the aircraft would likely be sourced on a damp-lease basis.

"We have recurrent customers that are willing to share the risk from adding this larger aircraft with us, and this will enable us to take in one or even two Airbus A320 aircraft for operations from the next summer season," he said.

Celiadin went on note that finding available A320 capacity in the market will be a challenge given the type's popularity.

The Lithuanian ACMI specialist's fleet consists of two B737-300s and one B737-400. As previously reported by ch-aviation, additional B737-400s are due next year.
