Quick Duck Airlines (Bratislava) is set to take delivery of its first aircraft, an ATR72-600 cn 1162, on lease from Singapore based lessor Avation. Austrian Aviation Net reports the aircraft should arrive in Central Europe on September 9.
The Slovakian start-up is backed by local investors to the tune of EUR5million (USD6.91million) and, with a workforce of ex-DanubeWings (Bratislava) employees, plans to offer passenger charter services under ACMI contract.
As of this posting, Quick Duck has yet to secure its Air Operators Certificate (AOC).
