Palau Pacific Airways (Koror) will lease a B737-800, OM-GEX (msn 29919), from AirExplore (ED, Bratislava) the Slovak ACMI specialist's CEO, Martin Štulajter, has said. Speaking to Austrian Wings, Štulajter said the twinjet, its first B737-800, would be based in the Pacific on a six-month wet-lease contract.
The Palauan start-up has said that it intends to offer 5x weekly flights from Koror to Hong Kong International with effect from November 1. Thereafter, it will add Taipei Taoyuan, Guam International, and Japan in 2015.
