Kam Air (RQ, Kabul) has announced via social media that it plans to transition its current Boeing (BOE, Washington National) fleet to Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) machines over the next 6 months. The Afghan carrier says it plans to replace its B767-200(ER), MD-82, two MD-83s and two MD-87s with a fleet of A320-200s. It already operates one A320-200 right now.

Privately-owned KamAir operates on scheduled domestic and international services to destinations in the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia.
