Broadsword Aviation (Northampton Sywell) will base a B727-200(F) out of Doncaster/Sheffield for use on charter flights to locations around the world under the Anglo World Cargo brand. Anglo World Cargo also operates the cargo terminal at Doncaster/Sheffield Airport.
“The partnership with 2Excel Aviation is great news for the Airport and shows that the reputation of our cargo terminal and our provision of logistical expertise is growing worldwide," Steve Gill, Managing Director of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, said. “The additional aircraft joining our cargo operations will enhance our international trade activity even further as the amount of freight being transported continues to increase, and this can only be positive news for the regional economy.”
2Excel Aviation is a sister company of T2 Aviation (Doncaster/Sheffield) jointly operating three ex-FedEx Express B727 freighters for cargo and oil spill response operations.
