AIS Airlines (Netherlands) (PNX, Lelystad) has taken over the Umeå, Sweden operations that were left vacant by Avies (Tallinn Lennart Meri) following the termination of its wet-lease contract with Direktflyg (Borlänge/Falun) last week.

Sweden's Flygtorget newswire says that with the Estonian carrier's dismissal over alleged tardiness and safety issues, the Dutch operator has since deployed its Jetstream 32s onto flights from Umeå to Sundsvall-Härnösand and Luleå.
