China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) will retire its four B777-200(ER)s from active service at the end of this year China's WCARN aviation news portal has said. The twinjets - B-2055 (msn 27524), B-2056 (msn 27525), B-2057 (msn 27604), and B-2058 (msn 27605) - will be phased out in pairs leaving only a fleet of four B777-200s.
China Southern uses the aircraft on scheduled flights throughout China as well as to the Maldives, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, and Japan. They are also used on charters to Liberia and France.
