AirAsia Zest (Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has evolved into an exclusive A320-200-denominated airline with the recent retirement of its last remaining A319-100, RP-C8990 (cn 1074), from active service. ch-aviation research shows the jet has now been placed in storage.
According to ch-aviation's fleet database, the Filipino budget carrier operates eleven A320s with one, RP-C8973 (cn 3154), recently returned to parent AirAsia (AK, Kuala Lumpur International) where it has now been re-registered as 9M-AFU.
