S7 Airlines (S7, Novosibirsk) has added its first B737-400 to its fleet and has started taking deliveries of its ex-Northwest Airlines (NW/Minneapolis) A319-100s. It will launch three times weekly B737-500 service from Chelyabinsk to Almaty on October 31. It has already launched a daily B737-500 service linking Moscow Domodedovo and Astrakhan as well as a twice weekly Tu-154M service from Moscow Domodedovo via Novosibirsk to Khabarovsk. S7 has signed a codeshare agreement with Air Moldova (9U/Chisinau) and Thai Airways Intl (TG/Bangkok) for the latter Moscow Domodedovo-Chisinau/Bangkok routes operated by its new partner carriers.
