Bishwo Airways (Kathmandu) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) for one SSJ 100/95, scheduled for delivery in 2017. With additional negotiation, the Russian manufacturer hopes the agreement will lead to a firm order for five Superjet aircraft.
The Nepalese start-up has announced plans to commence operations this quarter using an A330-200 to serve Saudi-Arabia, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates initially.
