Thomas Cook Airlines UK (Manchester) will lease in additional A320-200 capacity from Baltic ACMI/charter specialists SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) and Avion Express (X9, Vilnius) this coming summer.

According to Jethros, the UK leisure operator will source three jets - YL-LCL (cn 533), YL-LCK (cn 936), and YL-LCO (cn 1873) - from the Latvian operator while ​​LY-VEM (cn 747) and LY-VEN (cn 1626) will be sourced from the Lithuanians.

Thomas Cook Airlines UK has relied on third-party operators following the retirement of its own A320 fleet last year.
