Acropolis Aviation (CRV, Farnborough) has ordered one ACJ320neo from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) with delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018. With the announcement, the UK-based VIP corporate jet specialist has become the launch customer for the European manufacturer's ACJneo (New Engine Option) family of business jets.
“Our passengers and team have been delighted with our Airbus ACJ (A319-100 based corporate jet) and the success that it has achieved with VVIP charter flights over the past five years,” Acropolis Aviation CEO Jonathan Bousfield said. “We are excited and proud to be the first launch-customer for the ACJ320neo, which is the cornerstone of our planning for a successful future.”
Airbus’ ACJ320neo will be complemented by a new ACJ319neo whose upgraded technology including new engines and sharklets will allow it to ferry eight passengers up to 12,500km.
