Lithuanian aircraft management and MRO firm, Avia Solutions Group, has been shortlisted as a strong favourite in the race to acquire Adria Airways Tehnika. But, according to the Slovenian daily Dnevnik, while a favourite, the firm was forced to revise its initial offer which was rejected by Adria Airways Tehnika's shareholders Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and government-backed financial house PDP, as insufficient.
Other bidders that submitted proposals include German firm Express Airways (Germany) (Düsseldorf), Oryn, the Zagreb Traffic Institute (Zagrebački Prometni Zavod - ZPZ), and AVIATICA, a Croat aircraft management firm.
