Binter Canarias (NT, Gran Canaria) has signed a firm order agreement with ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) for six more ATR72-600s as the Canary Islands-based operator pushes ahead with its fleet renewal programme. The order, announced at the ongoing Paris Air Show 2015 at Paris Le Bourget, adds to a previous order placed in February last year, also for six ATR72-600s.
Deliveries of the turboprops will commence later this year and run through to 2017. Binter currently operates a fleet of sixteen ATR72-500s.
