First Choice and fellow UK leisure operator Thomson have cancelled all Thomson Airways (London Luton) flights to Luxor, Egypt for the rest of the summer, blaming a sudden fall in demand.
Famed for its ancient Egyptian temples and monuments, Luxor has been hit by a series of suicide bombings, the latest of which was at the Temple of Karnak on June 10.
Though no groups have yet claimed responsibility, the attacks are believed to be linked to Islamic State-aligned jihadists.
