SF Airlines (O3, Shenzhen) parent SF Express is reportedly planning to construct a freight hub airport, the first of its type in central China, in Yanji, a town in eastern Jilin province.
The president of SF Express (Group) Co., Ltd. Tu Wei told CAACNews in an interview that the location for the hub is still under scrutiny though a decision is expected by year-end.
As China's largest private express logistics firm, SF Express has pushed to devlop additional transit hubs with plans to develop Beijing Capital into a primary distribution centre for both the Beijing and North China markets.
