GSEC Aviation (Ahmedabad), a subsidiary of groundhandling and freight specialists GSEC Ltd (once known as Gujarat State Export Corporation Limited), is planning to enter into the commercial aviation sector with flights covering Madhya Pradesh itself as well as flights to the neighbouring states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh.
Beginning September 27, the carrier will offer flights between Indore and Ahmedabad before expanding its network to include other destinations such as Jabalpur, Gwalior, Raipur, Nagpur, Satna and Birwa among others.
Operations are on-board a Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208B leased from Supreme Aviation (India) (Mumbai International).
Mehair (Mumbai International) has partnered Ventura AirConnect (Ahmedabad) to offer similar flights throughout Gujarat and has been doing so since earlier this year. Like GSEC Aviation, they too are using Cessna Grand Caravans 208Bs.
