BizAir Shuttle (Chicago West) has terminated its sole remaining route - San Diego McClellan Palomar-Las Vegas Harry Reid - putting the virtual carrier's current operational status into doubt. The 3x weekly route, which launched in June, was the airline's second after its Carlsbad-Los Angeles International service which was terminated last month.
BizAir Shuttle had chartered a Do328-300 from Ultimate Jetcharters (Akron Regional) to ply the routes with additional plans to use an E135 sourced from RVR Aviation (Arlington, WA). Formerly BizCharters (Chicago West), the airline had also outlined plans to connect its Chicago West hub and Chicago Midway with Morristown Municipal and Washington Dulles in the past.
