Mission Aviation Fellowship of Liberia (Monrovia Spriggs Payne) is set to commence non-scheduled flights throughout Liberia following the recent arrival of Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208B 5X-OPE (cn 0858) in-country last week.

Formerly 5H-OPE with Mission Aviation Fellowship of Tanzania (Arusha), the turboprop is based out of Monrovia Spriggs Payne and will offer charter and medical evacuation flights to towns such as Monrovia Roberts, Greenville, Sasstown, Harper, Tchien, and Voinjama amongst others.

Liberty Airlines (Liberia) (Monrovia Spriggs Payne) is the only known profferer of flight services in the country operating ad-hoc and time-fixed contracts as well as rotary wing services for oil and gas firms working in the Mano River Union and the Gulf of Guinea.

The Liberian government has stated it plans to set up its own domestic light aircraft service in the near future.
