Jiangxi Airlines (RY, Nanchang International) has set a tentative launch date of January 18 following the completion of its certification drive with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) last month. Operations are on-board a pair of B737-800s.
While the Xiamen Airlines (MF, Xiamen) subsidiary's inaugural route has yet to be announced, it's initial network will encompass flights from Nanchang to Xiamen, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Guiyang, Haikou and Urumqi via Xi'an Xianyang. Other planned domestic destinations include: Beijing Capital, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu Shuangliu, Kunming Changshui, Zhengzhou and Tianjin.
Thereafter, Jiangxi Airlines plans to open up regional flights to Singapore Changi, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Kuala Lumpur International, Seoul Incheon, Tokyo Narita, as well as Europe and North America by 2020.
