BoA - Boliviana de Aviación (OB, La Paz El Alto) is planning to expand its route network into the Caribbean later this year chief executive officer Ronald Casso has said.
In an interview with Bolivia's Página Siete news site, Casso said: "We are in the process of analysing and seeking permission to fly to the Dominican Republic and Cuba, both of which are important tourist destinations and which will require accelerated development."
In terms of longhaul international operations, the Bolivian carrier currently serves Miami International in the United States as well as Madrid Barajas in Spain with regional operations restricted to Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini and Salta in Argentina, and São Paulo Guarulhos in Brazil.
