RISE (United States of America) (Dallas Love Field) has launched scheduled passenger flights out of Houston David Wayne Hooks, the airport's only such service to date. In a statement, the subscription-based carrier said effective Wednesday, January 27, it would offer a 2x weekly return service to Dallas Love Field.
The route centres on the oil sector given Hooks Airport's proximity to the nearby Exxon Mobil campus and on the area's booming construction industry - the Grand Parkway project in particular.
Rise currently employs a fleet of Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350s chartered from partner Monarch Air (Dallas Addison).
