United Airways (Dhaka) has resumed operations on February 24 after a three week break because of the "unavailability of serviceable aircraft" The Daily Star is reporting. According to the newspaper's report, United has resumed service from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar operating a daily ATR72-200 service again from Wednesday onwards.
United also plans to resume service on another domestic route to Saidpur on February 29. The carrier's fleet consists of three ATR72-200s, one Dash 8-100 and five MD-83s. The Daily Star writes that all of its aircraft were grounded for maintenance but that financial issues prevented the carrier from servicing the aircraft leading to the temporary suspension of domestic and the continued suspension of international services.
