Atrak Air (ATR, Tehran Mehrabad) has acquired six Embraer Regional Jets and three A320ceo airline sources have told the Aviation Iran magazine. The three Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) twinjets will reportedly deliver in June of this year, adding to the carrier's existing fleet of three A320-200s (only one of which is currently operational).
Currently, Atrak Air serves Tehran Mehrabad, Mashad, Kish, Bojnord, Ahwaz, and Shiraz locally, but plans to use the added capacity to enhance its market share.
