Olympus Airways (Athens) has taken delivery of its maiden Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) equipment following the arrival of A319-100 cn 1612 (on lease from AerCap) at Athens earlier this week.
The twinjet joins the Greek ACMI/charter specialist's fleet following the recent disposal of B737-500 SX-BDV (msn 25794) to Air Libya (7I, Tripoli Mitiga) where it became 5A-FLD earlier this month.
As previously reported, Olympus Airways will operate the aircraft for Italian virtual carrier PeopleFly (Cagliari) on flights from diverse destinations across Europe and North Africa to Cagliari.
