Sea Air (Slovenia) (Ljubljana) will base two aircraft out of the central German city of Paderborn/Lippstadt later next month for summer leisure flights to Spain and Croatia.
Effective April 22, the Slovenian carrier plans to use a B737-300 and a B737-400 to operate fifteen weekly flights from Paderborn to the Spanish destinations of Malaga, Almería, Ibiza, and Palma de Mallorca as well as Pula along Croatia's Dalmatian Coast. Sea Air also lists a daily service between Munich and London Southend on its website.
"These new destinations, which will each be served several times a week, are being launched as a result of continuous requests from both travel agencies and passengers alike," Marc Cezanne, the CEO of Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport, said. "We are also glad that Sea Air has also chosen to use our own German Aircraft Maintenance GmbH for its aircraft MRO requirements."
Its Croatian sister carrier Sea Air (Croatia) (Osijek) also plans to operate scheduled flights from Osijek to London Southend and Stuttgart Manfred Rommel (via Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) as well as from Pula to Düsseldorf and Leipzig/Halle this summer using Maleth-Aero (DB, Malta International) equipment.
