Winair (WM, St. Maarten) has secured seventh freedom traffic rights from the government of St. Kitts & Nevis following the St. Maarten-based airline's appointment as a designated carrier of that country last month.
Also known as Windward Islands Airways International N.V., Winair operates five de Havilland DHC-6-300s on flights throughout the Caribbean. From Basseterre, the capital of St. Kitts & Nevis, it serves Antigua, Nevis, Saint Barthélemy, and St. Maarten.
