EAE European Air Express (Mönchengladbach) will suspend its operations on July 31 when it will terminate its last scheduled service between Münster/Osnabrück and Amsterdam. It had already scrapped all of its other routes in June and July citing heavy competition from low-cost carriers that affected most of its routes. EAE had operated five ATR 42-300s and a Metroliner wet-leased from Regional Air Express (REW/Monchengladbach) on regional services out of Cologne/Bonn and Münster/Osnabrück.
