Tianjin Airlines (GS, Tianjin) will make its longhaul debut later this summer with the launch of a 2x weekly Tianjin to London Gatwick via Chongqing return service beginning June 25. Operations will be on-board an A330-200, cn 1756, due for delivery from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) later next month. A further two of the type will arrive later on in the year.
The Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou) subsidiary currently operates twenty-two A320-200s, fifty E190s, three E195s, and twenty-one E145s on flights throughout China as well as to Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Russia, and Taiwan.
