Bahamasair (UP, Nassau International) is planning to end scheduled Dash 8-300 operations later this month with the type's last commercial flights tentatively set for April 16.
The Bahamian carrier is in the process of replacing its five Dash 8-300s with a combination of three ATR42-600s and two ATR72-600s ordered during the 2015 Paris Air Show.
Bahamasair, which also operates three B737-500s, uses its turboprop fleet on flights throughout the West Indian archipelago as well as to the mainland United States.
