Bestfly (Luanda 4 De Fevereiro) has announced it is currently pursuing an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) with the Aruban Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). The business aviation specialist says Caribbean certification will allow it to offer aircraft management and charters beyond the confines of its current base country, Angola.
"We are thrilled to welcome Bestfly into our registry as a commercial operator, they have been a reputable, longtime operator at the registry under private operation and we are pleased to see how their organization has expanded and grown as well as honored that they chosen the Aruban P4 registry to fulfill this new chapter," Jorge Colindres, the CEO and Chairman of The Registry of Aruba, stated.
BestFly's managed Angolan fleet currently includes: a Hawker 400XP, a Challenger 600, two Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350s, a King Air 200 and a 90, and a Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan EX. It also manages several other Aruba- and Bermuda-registered aircraft.
