Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel) and Thomas Cook have received approval from Condor (DE/Frankfurt) minority shareholder Lufthansa (LH/Frankfurt) to go ahead with a deal that will see Air Berlin taking full control of Condor by 2010. Lufthansa has confirmed that it will not exercise its option to buy Condor from Thomas Cook and has agreed to sell its current 24.9% minority stake to Thomas Cook in 2009. Air Berlin will terminate its non-stop services from Dusseldorf to Seville and from Stuttgart to Moscow Domodedovo on October 26.
