Following an inspection of various local carriers' books and technical facilities last month, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has restricted the validity of three carriers' Air Operator's Certificates (AOC).
Concerning iFly Airlines (F7, Moscow Vnukovo), Rosaviatsia says that in light of iFly's poor financial state, it has decided to limit its AOC through to July 15. iFly operates one A330-300 and one B757-200 on passenger charter flights from destinations across Russia to resort towns in the Black Sea, the Mediterranean, China, and the Gulf for and on behalf of Russian tour operator, TEZ Tour.
Concerning Kosmos Airlines (KSM, Moscow Vnukovo), Rosaviatsia says its AOC is restricted to August 1. Kosmos Airlines specializes in charter flights to Russia's remote North and to various Black Sea resorts using two Tu-134AKs and one An-12.
Concerning Groznyavia (Grozny), Rosaviatsia says its AOC is restricted to September 6. The Chechen carrier operates nine Yak-42Ds on regular and chartered passenger flights across Russia as well as to Armenia.
