DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding) is set to conclude McDonnell Douglas (Long Beach) operations following an announcement that it has now put its sole remaining aircraft of the make - MD-83 OY-RUE (msn 49936) - up for sale.
Delivered in November 1990 to Airtours International (Manchester), the aircraft still has twelve months to go until its next mandatory C Check.
At present, DAT uses it for regional charter and leasing contracts. At present, it is away in service for Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) plying flights from its Copenhagen Kastrup base to Venice Marco Polo, Marseilles, Kraków John Paul II International, Dublin International, Pisa, Budapest, and Helsinki Vantaa.
