Solenta Aviation (SET, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) has acquired a pair of ex-Air Tahiti (VT, Papeete) ATR72-500s as well as a maiden ATR 72-200(F)/-500(F)/-600F Skyliner Aviation has reported.
The two -500s are known to be ZS-XZA (cn 719) and ZS-XZB (cn 731) which were formerly F-OIQN and F-OIQO on the French register. The freighter is an ex-ASL Airlines Ireland (5H, Dublin International) machine ZS-XCH (cn 108), formerly EI-SLR in Ireland.
Solenta Aviation specialises in passenger and cargo ACMI/charter operations using a fleet that includes one ATR42-300, three ATR42-300(F)s, two ATR72-200s, one E135LR, four E145LRs, and two E145LUs.
