Rio Linhas Aéreas (RIO, Curitiba International) has ended B737-400(F) operations following the transfer of its sole remaining aircraft of the type to fellow Brazilian carrier, Sideral Air Cargo (Curitiba International).
Skyliner Aviation indicates PP-WSA (msn 25375) will shortly be transferred to Sideral. The move marks the second exchange of aircraft between the two Brazilian cargo operators this year with Sideral Air Cargo having leased a B727-200(F) from Rio Linhas Aéreas beginning last month.
As it stands, Rio Linhas Aéreas' fleet entails four other B727-200(F)s.
