Citywing (Isle of Man) has switched charter operators with Poland's SprintAir (P8, Warsaw Chopin) now providing Saab 340A capacity in the form of SP-KPR (msn 340A-139).
According to a statement issued by the Manx virtual carrier on March 3, the Saab (Sweden) twinprop will provisionally operate flights through to March 25. Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows the contract commenced on February 28.
Services include Isle of Man to each of Belfast City, Blackpool, Glasgow International, and Gloucestershire. The carrier has, however, had to drop flights to Newcastle, GB while it attempts to find a suitable aircraft.
Citywing adds that it is in the process of sourcing aircraft best suited to its summer timetable. An update is due on March 10.
Citywing's operations have been severely disrupted after its previous capacity provider, VAN AIR Europe (V9, Brno), was grounded last month following an incident on Thursday, February 23.
