Thereafter, a direct Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta-Macau International route will launch on August 17 followed by a Jakarta-Shenzhen, China, via Singapore Changi service on October 17.
“We’re targeting to bring two million overseas tourists to Indonesia […] We’re going to add more flights to every destination, especially China and India. Currently, Indonesia AirAsia (QZ, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) has twenty-two Airbus A320 and two Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and we’re going to add two more airplanes,” he said.
The low-cost carrier's current operations focus on domestic Indonesian flights with additional flights to Penang, Kuala Lumpur International, and Johor Bahru in Malaysia.
