Coulson Aviation (United States of America) (CUL, Portland International) has concluded B727-100 operations after its last remaining aircraft of the type, B727-030 N606DH (msn 18365), was retired last month.
According to Skyliner Aviation, the 51 year-old trijet was flown to Port Alberni for preservation on May 21.
Specializing in firefighting and control, Coulson recently acquired six B737-300s from Southwest Airlines (WN, Dallas Love Field) with plans to convert them into 4,000-gallon “Fireliner” air tankers. It also operates three Lockheed Hercules C130 firefighters.
